Mechanical Breakdown Protection

Peace of Mind, Wherever You Travel

Don't let your vehicle go unprotected during a critical period of ownership. Mechanical Breakdown Protection (MBP) is designed to provide you with comprehensive coverage on your vehicles from coast-to-coast. Drive in comfort knowing this extensive care offers protection against unforeseen repairs, and is there when you need it—twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, three hundred sixty five days a year.

We offer four comprehensive plans:

  • Standard
  • Classic
  • Elite
  • Premier

You get to decide on the coverage that is right for you. All plans are specially designed to meet individual needs, and they all come with the following services:

  • Towing / Roadside Service
  • Rental Car
  • Trip interruption
  • Lost Key / Lockout
  • Road Service Benefit
  • Tire Service
Schedule of Coverages

Breakdown Coverage: We will pay or reimburse you for reasonable costs to repair or replace any breakdown of a mechanical or electrical part listed below, less any deductible. Replacement parts may be new, remanufactured, or used parts of like kind and quality.

Standard

If you have purchased Standard, the following are covered by this policy:

  • Engine (including diesels)
  • Turbocharger / Supercharger (if factory installed)
  • Transmission (Automatic or Standard)
  • Transfer Case
  • Drive Axle (Front and Rear)
Classic

If you have purchased Classic, the coverages listed under Standard and the following are covered by this policy:

  • Steering
  • Brakes
  • Electrical
  • Air Conditioner
  • Front and Rear Suspension
Elite

If you have purchased Elite, the coverages listed under Standard and Classic, and the following are covered by this policy:

  • Fuel Delivery
  • Cooling
  • Enhanced Electrical
Premier

If you have purchased Premier, the coverages listed under Standard, Classic, and Elite, and the following are covered by this policy:

  • Luxury Package Factory Installed
  • Interior and Exterior Appointments
  • And all mechanical and electrical parts except those excluded under the policy terms
